Brian Mungai
Co-Founder & CTO
Mungai is a FullStack Software Engineer based at The University of Nairobi where he is in the final year of his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science. He is a certified AWS Solutions Architect and self-taught, generalist developer whose work outside Vectorrgam includes maintaining Buni, the programming language he created, in his native language Swahili based on C & Haskell to help Kenyan kids experiment with code.
Mungai's focused development and efficiency has been instrumental in Vectorgram's growth: in its first 3 days, building out a prototype for the hackathon that birthed the company (Vectorgram won 2nd place), to its first 6 months, fleshing out Vectorgram's infrastructure to be able to handle the 5-million initial patient load required to be operational nationally.
