Dr. Nikita (MBChB.) is a Medical Doctor based at The University of Nairobi's School of Medicine & Surgery, where she is the Founding President & Research Lead Emeritus at ReMed, a national medical research collective for Medical Practitioners. Nikita's leadership within the medical community in Kenya has also seen her serve as President of the Franchopone Medical Students' Association, where she led the development of a bilateral medical internship exchange run at the Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital and Paris Saclay Hospital in France, funded by the French Embassy in Kenya.
Dr. Nikita has successfully completed Medical Internships in Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Pediatric Surgery & Obstetric Surgery in France, Germany & Kenya. In her tenure as the President of ReMed, medical researchers have published more than 20 publications globally. Her medical research in improving public health outcomes continues to enrich Vectorgram's approach to the fight against Breast Cancer through early diagnosis.
Together, Nikita, Brian & Ian have been awarded 2nd place prize at The Fuel Africa Healthcare Innovation hackathon in March 2022 for their work on Vectorgram as well as Top Finalist Team at the Africa Imact Challenge Incubation Program 2022 in September out of 200 teams contientally.
