Ian is a Machine Learning Engineer based at The African Leadership University in Mauritius where he is in the senior year of his honors degree in Computing. His work on scaling Mammography models at Vectorgram has been accepted for presentation and awarded distinctively in international AI conferences such as Deep Learning Indaba 2022 in Tunisia.

Ian was involved in Applied Research from an early age, independently pursuing advanced research projects ranging from a mobile recycling vending machine powered by Fuse-Deposit Modelling 3D printing at the age of 15 to an Embedded-Systems Sensor Network for accelerating vertical farming, gaining him national recognition in Kenya. Today, he pursues his love of scientific solutions to human problems at Vectorgram.
